My mission is to have an impact beyond the life of the grant to empower our local community of all ages and abilities to continue to access the outdoors through a gentle introduction to nature and outdoor adventure, outdoor education, and access to allied health professionals in an approachable environment.

By raising the awareness of Exercise as a modality to assist mental health, wellbeing and chronic disease, the profession of Exercise Physiology complements the needs of our diverse community.

Using Exercise as the first line of preventative health, connecting the community through activity and companionship.  A different approach to typical therapy allowing provision of therapy in more ways than traditional clinics can offer, with a focus on the social aspect and specific skill development or capacity attainment.

Having a community established physical activity schedule available, alongside individual program support. it’s an opportunity to combine the passion for health and outdoor adventure, to make real impact on people’s lives.

These services will complement our regular services that I’ve been providing for almost 12years.

Our Regular Services:

We are now expanding our Services to include providing for NDIS.  Please contact Admin if you wish to attend the clinic so we can schedule your appointment.

When you’re injured or experiencing any kind of pain, your workout is usually the first thing to take a back seat. In most cases, physiotherapists and doctors will tell you to pause your running routine, skip Spin class, ditch the boot camps, and cool it with exercise — except Pilates, Now that’s where we come in…

In our division of Mackay Exercise Physiology, we specialise in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation, and combine the Core and Back Strengthening focus of Pilates Concepts with an in depth analysis of Functional Anatomy and a Biomechanical approach to target our Clients Health and Needs goals.

We offer Private Consultations and Small Group Exercise Sessions that are claimable on your Private Health Insurance, dependant upon your level of cover, so please contact your Private Health Insurance fund to verify the level of cover you have under this service category.

Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) primarily treat Clients using Clinical Exercise interventions as their main treatment modality. AEPs typically work with complex medical conditions (but not limited to): muscular rehabilitation and injury prevention, chronic disease management and prevention via Private Health or Medicare, via your GP (Enhanced Primary Care Plan). There is also a strong focus on behavioural change and self-management concepts.

We currently provide services under the Enhanced Primary Care Plan, via your GP.  They will need our details for a referral to be made, so please ensure you send a contact email and one of our Administration staff will follow up your enquiry during admin hours.
